| 20050101 | 13 Hammer 1382, evening | 18 Hammer 1382, evening | 13th: Alynna and Damian discuss where he got the rings of wishes he have Edward and Henrym, Damian mentions he may have only decades of life remaining rather than millennia, Alynna gives Damian a good night; 14th: Jullian takes Alax this evening and Sue sleeps with Morgan; 15th: Edmund and Jewel go hunting in the forest then talk afterward, Edmund says something that offends Mielikki and she sends a sign in the form of a knife through his foot, Izak and family have dinner at Edmund's that evening, during the night Alax has to deal with a minor infestation of osquips in the attic; 16th: Durin trades Gantrin a good utility axe for a gallon jug of good dwarven ripple; 17th: Alax and Edmund go to visit Rendel and find that he still appears sick - thin and mostly skin and bones, Dalia brings Jullian news that the alter at the temple is bleeding, Sue and Jullian send Dalia to the House of the Moon in Waterdeep to ask for advice while they rush to their own temple, Dalia returns stating that the altar in Waterdeep is bleeding as well, Sue has Jullian Dalia Fay and Uhma pray all day for their lady, late in the evening Sue insists that Jullian goes to rest, Jullian reluctantly uses a room in the temple to rest, Selūne appears to Jullian to tell her that her soul stone is broken and only one with the blood of Selūne can find and restore it, Mystra appears to Alynna to tell her that Selūne's palace in her home plane is besieged by Shar's forces, Jullian tells Sue of Selūne's visitation then calls for Alynna to take them to Lycosia where the statue was, Alynna takes Sue and Jullian there (where it's late morning) and find Mask there desecrating the shattered remains of the statue, after a brief conversation with Alynna Mask leaves, Jullian and Alynna can see the pieces of the soul stone but Sue cannot, Jullian gathers it and she and Alynna reassemble it, Mask reappears as Selūne to try to trick them into handing the stone over but Sue foils him and is blinded for the effort, Alynna takes them and the statue back to the temple to Selūne in Hullack, Selūne herself is there and thanks them then buries her soul stone under the temple, Alynna takes Sue and Jullian home, Alax is waiting there and is shocked to learn what happened; 18th: Alax and family stay indoors but go to inn for dinner. |
| 20041231 | 11 Hammer 1382, evening | 13 Hammer 1382, evening | 11th: The returning adventurers enjoy being with their families for the evening; 12th: Naladar tells Alynna he saw a 'wolfman' devouring a young girl of the town (Thessa Mueler, the spoiled daughter of a worker at the general store) the previous day, Alynna gets two rangers to track the werewolf with her, they track it to the inn, they devise a plan to get all the inn's guests to drink from silver goblets to identify the werewolf by who refuses to drink, a mage draws suspicion by refusing to drink, Jullian orders the mage watched until it can be proven he's the werewolf but also orders increased patrols in the village, Elisa spends the evening talking to the mage about magic then talks a bit with Henric about choosing a calling for her life, Alax spent part of the day giving his children rides on his horse Steel; 13th: The werewolf is trapped in Walth's place after trying to attack one of the ladies there, Henric and Joanus go to help kill it, the werewolf turns out to have been a newly-transferred-in Purple Dragon rather than the suspected mage, Joanus reveals that the Shades made him eat what he killed as a gladiator slave, Elisa turns out to be a natural with the bow, Gantrin brings a large barrel of vinegar to Tess around noon, in the afternoon Alynna needs to cast a neutralize poison on one of Damian's rare snakes because it got sick from bad food, Alax goes to spend time with Izak telling stories of the expedition, Izak summons Gareth and returns to him the docks taken away in punishment for Westgate, Izak mentions to Alax that Jullian was attacked, Edward and Henrym have their 18th birthday party in the evening, after the party Alax and Sue make Jullian tell of her ghostly attacker, Alax spends evening with Morgan and Sue with Jullian. |
| 20041225 | 26 Nightal 1381 | 11 Hammer 1382 | 26th: The dwarves begin bringing uniformly cut stones for foundations and the Alax has men begin laying the foundation of the keep, back in Hullack (the night of 26/27) Selūne visits Jullian to compliment her on the new temple; 27th: The hilltop on which the keep will be built is cleared off, Alax goes to visit the moon elven settlement; 28th: Alax goes to visit the dwarven settlement in Granite Mountain; 29th: A forest giant visits the settlement, the village trades the giant meant for several large lumps of adamantite; 30th: Enough commoner workmen and specialists have arrived through the portal that the Avanguard's crew are no longer needed, Alax asks Capt. Yandress to go out and chart more of the coast; 1st Hammer 1382: The Avanguard sails northward from the settlement at first light, Alax sends a report to Izak suggesting it's time to exlore more deeply into the new land; 2nd: Izak replies to Alax agreeing that exploration is in order and saying he's restored Natan's nobility and made him a baron to be lord of the settlement under Alax; 3rd: Natan arrives, Alax fills Natan and introduces him to the moon elves and dwarves, Natan and Hellen dine with Alax at their tent; 4th: Alax and group head out on exploration mission, Alax and group encounter ruins of ancient fort just 3 miles from settlement and find a band of 10 dusk elves there, the dusk elves attack and are killed by Alax's group, the group feels watched during the night after they camp; 5th: The group enters into forested hills this days and finds the tracks of a treant; 6th: Alax and group find a dusk elven village near noon and take cover to observe it, there is no movement save for a helmet falling, Alax suspects a trap so he backs the group off to find a defensible camp, during the night a flock of large flightless birds runs through the camp; 7th: Edmund Willis and Zane scout out the dusk elven village and find the entire population was killed two or three days prior by having their throats torn out then return to the group's camp during the afternoon; 8th: Alax and group start back for the settlement at the day's start; 10th: Alax and group arrive back at the settlement at late afternoon, Alax and group goes to talk to the local moon elven leader Lieranel and learns the village was most likely wiped out by Selūne-worshipping weretigers from the Great Swamp to the south, the settlement is currently about 200 soldiers and 25 commoner/experts; 11th: Before breakfast, Alax and group return to Hullack for an extended break and arrive at dinnertime. | 20041224 | 20 Nightal 1381 | 25 Nightal 1381 | 20th: Hector and Kendra go back to Suzail with a war wizard to find it is the morning of the 21st in Suzail due to the 10 3/4 hour time difference; 21st (in Cormyr): Alax and group arrive early in the predawn morning, Sue Morgan and Astra prepare a large breakfast for Jullian, Jullian takes Sue to see the completed temple in Hullack, Alax and wives then sleep for much of the day, Hector and Kandra split up to spend the day with their families, Hector spends most of the day telling stories of the trip then retires to bed early; 22nd (In Cormyr): First thing in the morning, Alax and group and Kandra and Hector separately return to the ship, Hector learns that Kandra's mother died while she and her father were away; 21st (on ship): Alax and group and Hector & Kandra return to Avanguard in the evening; 22nd: The Avanguard sails at first light for the area selected for the settlement and arrives near the end of the day, an initial camp is set up on shore before dark including a large tent the war wizards set up; 23rd: Purple Dragon patrols leave the war wizard tent after the war wizards set up a portal in it, in the evening a group of wood elves comes to greet the humans and Alax talks with them, after the elves leave Kandra takes Hector inland to a nearby stream for a swim and they make love afterwards, Lieutenant Bangar steals their clothes and takes them back to camp, Captain Yandress gives Bangar a tongue-lashing then expresses disappointment in Hector and requires him to marry his daughter, Astra and Morgan are sent to Suzail to bring Gareth and Heather back to see it, Sue performs the wedding ceremony, Gareth and Capt. Yandress talk, a brief celebration follows until everyone goes to bed; 24th: real work gets underway as the Purple Dragons begin logging, they and Edmund find trees similar to a duskwood but even harder to cut, a dwarf arrives to meet the humans, the war wizards spend the day bringing supplies (arrows, food, pigs, cickens, calves, goats) through their portal, the Dragons begin making a split-rail fence to contain the livestock, Hector and Kandra are each assigned to a hunting detail; 25th: the dwarf returns to sell adamantine axeheads and saws that are capable of cutting the super-duskwood trees. |

Land, ho! 2nd: In the afternoon the Avanguard sights the ruins of a city on the shore with a large feminine statue in the middle, Sue insists on going ashore immediately and summons Alynna to bring Jullian, Alynna does so, upon investigation the city turns out to be the fabled city of Lycosia, Sue reveals she saw the place in a dream in which she would be summoned to become one of Selūne's Shards, Sue wants to build a settlement here but Alax rejects the idea, Selūne visits Astra to tell her they should settle a bit north rather than the swamp at the south end of the bay, after some convincing Alax decides to camp here and send the Avanguard farther on to chart and explore without the team, Alynna and Jullian return home; 3rd: The Avanguard sails northward along coast, Alax and team begin careful exploration of city ruins; 4th: Morgan accidentally discovers a dry basement containing some books, but otherwise finds only pottery; 5th: The group discovers a graveyard and chooses to not disturb it, the Avanguard charts a very good site for a settlement; 14th: The Avanguard discovers the expected river at the south end of the bay but discovers it's in the middle of a swamp, a dragon turtle attacks the ship but is driven off by cannon; 15th: The crew inspects the Avanguard for damage but finds none, by the end of the day the Avanguard finishes charting the southern reaches of the bay, Izak informs Gareth of the success of the ship; 16th: After breakfast the Avanguard begins sailing back to the group at best speed; 20th: The Avanguard arrives back at the ruins of Lycosia right after sunrise, Alax and some of the group return home that evening to find they missed yuletide due to the time difference (evening of the 20th at Lycosia is the morning of the 21st in Cormyr). 4th: Alax and Sue visit the ship and Sue sees to decorating the cabins of the adventuring group, Willis buys some new daggers from Durin, Alynna takes Willis and Edmund to Lynnara's new shop in Neverwinter so they can buy new magic weapons, Willis tries to talk Jullian into prostituting herself in exchange for potions, Jullian is outraged and calls for her guard but Willis and Edmund make a hasty exit out the window, Astra and Morgan talk about the ship and teleporting on and off it, Gareth asks Izak to withdraw the offer made to Hector but Izak won't do it, Hector asks for a lieutenant's exam at the Academy and it's scheduled for a month from now, Gareth receives word that Markus and Thistle are expecting, Hector finds out the maid died, Gareth and family go to their Westgate mansion to have dinner that evening with them, after dinner Markus takes Hector out to a sailor's tavern in Westgate to drink and hear tales, when they return Gareth and family return to Suzail, the maid's ghost visits Hector's room that night and scares him; Sue joins Morgan and Alax that night for a threesome; 5th: Capt. Yandress has Hector bring to him newly drawn maps from the Navy's cartography office, Hector receives is ghostly visitor again; 6th: Hector moves to another room in the house to sleep but still receives his ghostly visitor, meaning the apparition is tied to him rather than the room; 7th: Hector is visited by the maid's ghost again and this time he talks to it, the ghost tells him that Heather had geased & cursed her to win his heart or die and she died after he rejected her, Hector is furious and confronts his mother and accuses her of killing the maid, in remorse Heather gets a cleric to resurrect the maid; 8th: Heather leaves home with only a note, Gareth scrys and goes to her in what was once Thay, Heather puts on a Red Wizard Zulkir's robes and claims to have a potion that will animate the dead of thay and reawaken sleeping Red Wizards, Gareth tries to talk her out of it but Heather uses the potion, the potion does not work and is revealed to be a trap laid by the Simbul (Alassra), Alassra confronts Heather with intent to kill her, Alassra mentions Alynnas name so Alynna hears then intervenes, Alassra leaves in disgust, Heather is obviously mentally unwell, Alynna takes Gareth and Heather back home to Dauntinghorn house; 13th: Astra finishes reconstructing her spellbook; 14th: Astra and Morgan go visit the ship and Capt. | 20040528 | 13 Tarsakh 1380 | 3 Mirtul 1380, morning | 13th: Sara is bruised in an accident with Gantrin and a barrel, Baneite mages raid the Mystran temple and wound Flonna Raymond and break the crystal statue, Raymond is a bit addled from his injuries, a phylactery is on the one Baneite body left behind, Alynna can't get Rendel or Callia to find out who is in the phylactery so she stores it away, Callia tells Alynna of rumors of orcs in the forest; Greengrass: Thistle is coronated Queen and married to Markus as Gareth returns the city to her, there is a failed attempt to kill Thistle and Markus, only 30% of Gareth's remaining men (about 735 men) choose to stay and serve Thistle and Markus; 1st Mirtul: Gareth has a mustering out ceremony for the remaining 70% then boards ship for the return to Suzail, Izak and his guard of Purple Dragon Knights including Alax go to Waterdeep and get settled in; 2nd: the meeting with the Lords Alliance goes bad as first the lords are critical about Westgate and demand Gareth's head then at least one lord has crossbowmen attack Izak and the knights, Izak only takes two hits but the knights take many before war wizards get them all out, Alax took the most bolts but lived while three other knights died, Alax and the others are healed in the palace, Alax is eager for war but Alynna and Izak have cooler heads, Alax is sent home until he is rested, Alynna realizes she violated punishment in talking with her Grandfather and prays until Mystra talks to her and adds lightly to her punishment, Mystra restores the broken statue, Alynna and Andrhel go to Mystra's plan for the remainder of her punishment. 3rd: Astra is awakened by an orc in her bed, Astra Morgan and Raymond must battle several orcs in the house, Raymond is wounded and taken to the Mystran temple. |

Izak has Heather and family released and given guest rooms in the palace, by the end of the day Garths forces secure the city but the adventurers sent into the catacombs were found drained of blood; Gareth sends a large force into the catacombs, Lord Malcom and a battlemaster review Alax's work and Alax is promoted to constal. |
| 20040306 | 5 Alturiak 1380, afternoon | 7 Alturiak 1380, evening | 5th: Jullian talks with the trapper, then summons the senior rangers and keep officers then questions the trapper in more detail to learn of the group of Zhents deliberately hunting the purple dragon, Jullian sends the rangers out to find this group and has Sir Brian prepare a force to deal with them, Edmund and Kat discover the Zhents already found the purple dragon and was devoured by it, Edmund talks to the dragon for a bit, Edmund and Kat take the shredded gear back to the keep with them to tell what happened, Raymond sees a 'red wizard' leaving Damian's shop, Astra tells Alynna of the wizard then goes to investigate the shop, Alynna catches up to the wizard and discovers he's the same ex-red wizard who sold potions from the inn last year, the wizard's name is Altos, Damian rented his shop to Altos, Altos now serves the Simbul and Alynna concludes he's a spy for her in Hullack, Alynna spends evening with Damian and conceives a child then spends the night with Storm Jenni and Midnight, Raymond Astra Morgan and Alysan discuss the new tax and child deduction and agree that they are not yet ready to bear children just to save on taxes; 6th: Alynna finds that Damian is gone and learns she is pregnant, Adeara buys the amethyst dragon skin to make armor from, Alax and Rendel talk, Rendel sends men to bring Jerrid in for questioning but he evades them and that sets off Gareth's attack plans; 7th: During the pre-dawn hours Gareth evacuates his ground troops from Cormyr by boat without being detected until morning, chaos ensues in suzail when it's discovered Gareth's entire army is missing, Damian returns home to Alynna and they talk, Rendel is imprisoned by Izak, Alax is a royal guard for Izak for the day, Mellisa comes with her child to Hullack for refuge, in the evening Izak sends Alax to search Dauntinghorn House, Alax brings the family members back to the palace to be confined with Heather, Izak summons Alynna to talk to Heather, Heather reveals a clue that Gareth might have reacted to pirates taking his ships, Alax figures out Gareth's target must be Westgate. |

2nd Hammer 1380: Gavin returns with information about the source of the orc raiders, Sue calls a meeting of the town leaders and tells them the orcs are there because the trolls have driven them out of the Vast Swamp, Kat is staying with the orcs as a show of good faith while people from the town deal with the trolls, Sue orders a party be sent out to deal with them; 3rd: Group composed of Elron, Henric, Durin, Joanus, Edward and a Helmite priest leaves Hullack, and arrives in Thunderstone by day's end; 4th: Group reaches edge of Vast Swamp at midday and soon finds that the trolls are fleeing from somethign as well, they find a great wyrm black dragon killing the trolls, the group fights the dragon and the dragon yields unexpectedly quickly, the dragon tells them the trolls destroyed her eggs and the group gets her to agree to stop killing trolls, the group then sets out to find the orcs keeping Kat; 5th: group finds orc camp at edge of swamp and Infested Hills, Henric finds orc chieftan about to take Kat and he kills the orc and gets Kat out, group starts back for Hullack; 6th: Group reaches Thunderstone by the end of the day; 7th: Group arrives in Hullack Town at end of day. | 20031226 | 1 Eleasias 1379, start of day | 8 Eleasias 1379, morning | 1st: Alax and group (less Astra Morgan and husbands) go to Arabel to get wagons and finish their trip; 4th: Alax and group arrives in Masoner's Bridge during mid-afternoon and they stop for the day; 7th: Alax and group arrive in Hullack Town during morning, Astra Morgan and husbands return from Mystra's palace, Raymond receives an unusual new assignment and Astra checks into it to learn it was forged and she gets his current assignment verified, Sedric goes to Gareth to give his report about his ship and speaks of misdoings by Gareth's buyer in Westgate, High Watcher Scheel introduces Alax to Sir Larsrik Banus, Scheel and Larsrik come to dinner at Alax's hall that evening to tell him of the first quest which will be to go to Vaasa to recover one of the sacred hammers of Helm, Valnshaa and Raymond decline to go on the quest, Willis tells Durin the mithral is here; 8th: In the early morning hours the mithral is delivered to Durin, after breakfast Alax and Larsrik book passage on one of Gareth's cargo ships, Astra visits Izak and Laspeera looking for a bag of holding. |
